Adesola has over fifteen years of professional working experience. He trained with W. A Kareem & Co (Chartered Accountants), Lawrence Akinwole & Co. (Chartered Accountants) and Akintola Williams Deloitte (an international accounting firm),
making him an accountant with both local and international experience. Qualifying as a Chartered Accountant in 2008, Adesola has also worked with Samsung Electronics West Africa Ltd and Bristow Helicopters Nigeria Limited, as a tax expert and a management accountant respectively, before joining Facts & Figures Consulting.
Adesola is a Licensed Practicing Accountant by the Institute of Chartered Accountants of Nigeria (ICAN) and a Licensed Tax Practitioner by The Chartered Institute of Taxation of Nigeria (CITN).
He is also currently the Managing Partner of Adebowale Adesola & Co. (Chartered Accountants) and the Managing Consultant of Facts & Figures Consulting. A graduate of Accounting from Babcock University, Ilishan-Remo, Ogun State, he holds a Higher National Diploma in accountancy from Federal Polytechnic, Ede, Osun State.
A Fellow of the Institute of Chartered Accountants of Nigeria, a Fellow of the Chartered Institute of Taxation of Nigeria and an Associate Accounting Technician-West African, of the Institute of Chartered Accountants of Nigeria, Adesola is also a full member of Chartered Institute of Loan and Risk Management of Nigeria.
John is the Worldwide Managing Partner, CEO, and Chairman of the Board of Directors at Finovate, where he oversees global strategy and operations while preserving Bain’s renowned culture. With over 20 years at the firm, John has advised global CEOs and is a recognized expert in deal advisory and value creation for portfolio companies.
He has a strong background in private equity, corporate mergers and acquisitions, and consumer products. John is also involved in sustainability initiatives and serves on the Board of Directors of Cancer, a non-profit focused on fighting pediatric cancer. He holds master’s degrees in civil engineering and multilingual business communication from the University of Ghent and is based in New York.
